Part of an instant win that can be used before your opponent's first turn. Not that fun outside of that though.

the only reason I want to use this instead of chimeric mass is that my artifact deck doesn't have any new artifacts in it, and by new I mean the ones that look like white cards...

Pretty rough rare. Aside from the fact that there are now countless better X cost creatures, it's pretty bad in a vacuum. It can't block, and it can't attack unless you pay what is likely a fairly large amount. Usually the customization inherent in X cards is a strength, but it doesn't help this at all.

No longer a staple in Flash Hulk decks because the combo capable of killing opponents at the start of their first turn can now be done with Body Double, Carrion Feeder, Reveillark, Mogg Fanatic, and Body Snatcher. This takes up 5 card slots rather than 12, freeing up 7 slots for stuff like Pact of Negation, Force of Will, Mental Misstep etc.
