Although this isn't a tremendously strong card on its own, and in most cases better alternatives exist (Air Elemental for a start), it can be a decent mid-to-late game player in some faster blue decks, when the bouncing Island isn't likely to make a whole load of difference. It can return Islands for the likes of Foil, Seismic Assault or Forbid. There's a lot of other very niche applications for that too, from Cursed Scroll to the 'hand size matters' mechanic of Saviours, and as a 4/4 flier for 4, this is worth remembering for decks which may want to abuse such things.
