Every time I read the words:
"... as though they didn't have..."
on a card, its like beautiful poetry to my ears.
P.S. If this were YuGiOh, this card would instead be an instant (err trap or whatever) that said "Destroy all permanents with Hexproof". That's how they roll.

I'd rather see a red card that just burns everything with shroud and hexproof.

Well, that settles it for Dimir. Good day and good-bye, opponent!

One of my absolute favorite cards in a very long time, possibly one of my favorite cards ever. It turns off the most obnoxious, no-brainer ability in the game (Shroud shall rise again!), and if that function isn't relevant, it cracks for a turn of protection vs. removal and/or unblockable. ALWAYS relevant, always useful, and sometimes lets you Dismember Sigarda, Host of Herons -- there can't be a better feeling than that.

Looks like a good way to secure a Vraska the Unseen win.

If you haven't noticed, only you and the creature's controller can target it, not any other players. This is important in multiplayer.

Ok, so we all get that it hoses Hexproof. But the thing that caught me was its sac ability. I get sick of my creatures falling to spells like Azorius Charm and such, and this card prevents my creatures from just that and let me sneak in the extra damage.

Breath of fury + krenko + glaring spotlight = infinite goblins and infinite swing for damage. Love it.
