This card seems a little out of place in this deck. Yes, this card can kill 2 1/1 or burn an opponent for 1, but its seems to me that Tibalt is about burn and madness. All of a sudden a goblin shows up in a deck filled with crazed monsters, devils, elementals, and spirits.

@ragebarbarian. Yeah, the arsonist feels horribly off in this deck. Its a general problem with both actually. I know that Duel Decks are generally going to be mostly 1-offs and 2-offs, but in this pair I feel like some of the one-off's that seem really out of place could have been dropped for a second of the cards that work well but only have 1 copy...

A must have in my Goblin Modern Deck. Good ability to have it deal one damage to either a target or a player whenever it dies, making it irritating for the opponent. I usually use it as a blocker, sometimes combined with Furious Resistance, and to sacrifice it for Goblin Grenade in order to take out bigger creatures.

screw Wizards. This should have been Torch Fiend, because Creature- Goblin Shaman is NOT Creature- Devil.
Tibalt is a DEVIL. There are NO Goblins on the Plane of Innistrad. Much of the other cards chosen for this rely on Vorthos/Story/World justifications. FLAVOR. This might be a good Magic card, but it's a BAD Flavor Match, and IF this card is OK, then I start thinking 'hey, there are a heck of lot of other cards that ought to be OK. Like Doom Blade for Tibalt with Avacyn's face on it. X.X'
(I am not suffering from RTFC- the irony would be fun to post comments about. :)

Huh, I saw this card when I started playing but its taken near two years for me to realize it is a goblin with a hat rather than a goblin struggling to carry a massive carved stone... huh.
