I just wanted to thank you for causing my opponents to curse and mutter profanities under their breath every time you make your way to the battlefield. Also, the maniacal laughter I let loose every time I've dropped a Followed Footsteps on you when playing with my casual group will always remain as the fondest of memories. Your attitude towards bigger harder hitting baddies is always "I ain't scared!!!" And I applaud you for that sir. You're an inspiration to us all and please keep bringing the pain to every game you make an appearance at! Thank you for your time.

Creatures: Hypnotic Specter, Phyrexian Negator, Phyrexian Infiltrator, Phyrexian Crusader, Priest of Gix, Nether Spirit, Doomed Necromancer, Necroplasm, Dusk Urchins, Phylactery Lich, Maralen of the Mornsong, Royal Assassin, Toshiro Umezawa, all the zombie lords (Death Baron, Lord of the Undead, etc.) and this guy.
Not to mention all non-creature 3-drops...

One of the most powerful and efficient creatures ever for that cost. I can't really think of better and more flavourful abilities it could have had. Maybe instead of deathtouch, it could have had the vampire +1/+1 counter ability whenever it dealt damage although that makes it too powerful. Maybe if it costed 4 and was a 3/3...
