Teysa was one of the most antecipated cards from the set. On par with Ral Zarek... and this is what we get?
Let's start with the flaws of teysa:
- An crippled advokist with little to no combat experience... a 4/4?
- Totally non-interactive with the guild.
- Absurdely overcosted to be playable
For 7, you get a non-proactive creature, with no board impact, and no removal resilience. For 7 people want something that will have imact, not a card that will sit there and work as a blocker with a totally defensive ability.
What teysa have good? The art.
It's a shame that two of the better arts ever made on magic (This and Deathpact Angel), got such bad unplayable cards.

Completely agree. Your spot on.
The spoiling of the guild champion cycle was easily the most disappointing moment I've ever experienced as a magic player. Most all of them are over costed, unplayable in constructed, or both with a side of horrific flavor (Emmara Tandris).
As a huge fan of Orzhov and of Teysa by herself, I consider this card to be one of the top design flops.
