Runed Stalactite.

Runed Stalactite is the best thing to put on this. It really messes with the flavour, though.

Maybe what happens is that the Kithkin sees himself as a giant (and a Phelddagrif, I guess) and gains confidence in himself. "I am greatness! I will BECOME greatness!".

An inspirational story, really.

The moral? When you have a spike that turns you into anything, then and ONLY then can you achieve anything.
