I think the best part about this guy is that it gives you an untouchable Sac outlet for several turns, from turn one.
Then eventually, it wears off, but you get a nice fatty with haste to compensate.

Also slated for inclusion in Duel Decks: Gargadons vs Baloths.

Still strictly greater than Lesser Gargadon.

Gargadons would be cool to see more of. Someone should write Wizards :)
It's not that I'm sick of Baloths- but we need to give other Beast creatures room in MAGIC ^_^

Is absolutely begging to be played with Jhoira of the Ghitu as your commander.
Even by himself he's pretty good. A nice effect is that if your opponent kills any of your guys you can just sac them in response, so you can actually him much sooner than you think you would.
5/5

This guy, Nihilith, Smallpox, Deathcloud, Delirium Skeins, and other terrible terrible symmetrical effects, as well as Boom Bust and rain of tears
This is a modern way of beatdown/control/land destruction. What can they do

I put this card with Worm Harvest to sacrifice your lands and then get tokens to sacrifice and get this guy into play.
