Oh my! A very powerful uncommon; may possibly define a deck archtype with that significant card advantage it generates. Lots of support for red burn coming up!

This is the kind of creature you want to have in a burn deck. If he is not killed immediately, he will swarm the field... for free!

I recall a certain Talrand, Sky Summoner kicking butt last M set. This time red gets a smaller, less costly version of Talrand, and Molten Birth instead of Talrand's Invocation. Watch out for this.

A wonderful new tool for a Dragonstorm deck.
Predator Dragon puts those elementals to good use.

You've gotta love how that one extra point of power tells you exactly what kind of a deck this belongs in.
On a side note, the sheer fact that this kid isn't legendary (Talrand, Sky Summoner) means that I'll feel a lot better about dropping four of him into any deck I make. The idea of having multiple Young Pyromancers out at the same time is pretty sweet.
Between being a 2-drop and only requiring one red mana, it's pretty clear that this kid is going to see a lot of action in a lot of different decks. Exciting stuff.

Young Pyromancer
Guttersnipe
Purphoros, God of the Forge
This sort of thing delights me.
