He's like Rotlung Reanimator, but in return for a more common creature type being the trigger, his zombies enter tapped.
I like him. With, say, Shadowborn Apostle and Shrivel, we have a jank deck right there.

Now your Doomed Traveler can become a Spirit AND a Zombie token, that's twice the reanimation for twice the fun.

Modern Rotlung Reanimator?
Neat in a variety of decks due to the creature type. We also rarely get Xathrid cards

Well, the old trick with Rotlung Reanimator (and thus also with this guy) was to either change the creature type of the creatures in play (conspiracy) or on the card itself (artificial evolution). The latter option would result in something like:
"Whenever Xathrid Necromancer or another Human creature you control dies, put a 2/2 black Human creature token onto the battlefield tapped."

Have him and Mikaeus, the Unhallowed out.
YOU GET REANIMATED YOU GET REANMATED EVERYBODY GETS REANIMIMATED!

I wish it say another Human creature on the battlefield dies, because it would be so funny against my friend's human deck!

I'm really not liking this 'zombies enter tapped' crap.

Hilarious combos with Conspiracy and Blasting Station.
Fun card in its own right, lots of flavor. One of my favorites in the new set. 4/5
