Interesting how this card is rated 2.6/5 but the M10 and M11 versions are 3.5/5

Attrition and hand advantage don't matter nearly as much in Magic as they do in YuGiOh. Case in point, Mind Rot is no Delinquent Duo.

Card advantage is cool, but come on; give us Wrench Mind or any other discard two that's slightly better. We love them!
At least give us art..
..please?

Still needs an upgrade. After all this time.
Wrench Mind, as was said, would be cool.
My vote is for Stupor.

Card advantage plane and simple. Won't always be relevant, because your opponent could be in top deck mode, but this is solid on turn three and an all star when your opponent has exactly two cards in hand so that there is no decision for them to make.

Mind Rot, Naturalize, Negate, Pacifism, Serra Angel, and Fog are all apparently NWO core set staples.
On the art: I wish that core sets didn't need generic art. The Orzhov themed Mind Rot art was awesome. Even 7th Edition art was better than this.

This card can win you the game when timed right. It's overshadowed by others, but it has its place. This card is also a classic. I give it a solid 3/5.
