Springjack Shepherd's big brother. For 2 more mana, you get 1/1s instead of 0/1s, and they have a much more relevant creature type.

At least 3 chump blocks when your behind and enough forces to win the game when your ahead. The body is meh, but you have to cut your loses somewhere.

More for limited and casual than constructed competitive, but in those formats it's all kinds of nice. My experience with Theros limited has seen a lot of stalled out board states and this can easily fix that.
Gorgeous Nils Hamm art is just a cherry on top.

Curves out nicely from Godhead of Awe for 7 tokens that are as big as any other monster in play. Alternatively, curves out from Nobilis of War for 7 tokens that swing for lethal next turn.

What if I had a Little Girl on the battlefield?
I'm sure there will never be an official ruling (at least I hope not) so it would half to come down to local opinion.
Do we round down (or up)? Boring.
Do we get a soldier with half/half? Hm...
Or a 0/1 goat token?
Or do you tear a token in half and put one of those halves on the battlefield?

Oh Wizards - why do all our flicker effects ( cloudshift, restoration angel, Emancipation angel) cycle out as these come in? SO fun to flicker.
