Adequate artifact/enchantment destruction, with a very in-color supplemental ability. Solid choice, almost good enough to compete with spells like Krosan Grip.

This is pretty much good enough to mainboard. It's Naturalize with Shock stapled on instead of the colorless cost, with the only issue being it only hits players and only works if they have an artifact or enchantment. But honestly, that's not really much of an assumption, especially in this set.

This has 100% more synergy with Chandra's Phoenix, Shrine of Burning Rage and Chandra Ablaze than Naturalize.

Jeez, between this set, and RTR block... It's Gruul vs Boros, and whoever wins, we lose.

I'm sorry there's just no way that fire is hot enough to melt a metal shield, sorry Mr. Satyr.

Pedradol: This is THEROS, and these guys are Red. :) It's basically the Bronze Age for one (they MIGHT have Iron too, plus a Magic Celestial Metal) and if they don't revere him as much as an Olseid, they Know Of Purphoros. I call PLAUSIBLE that they basically have a legit outright Forge that they are dancing around.
Sure, not that Probable, but they are Satyrs (mythological creatures) on a plane that is supposed to be kind of like "Olympus, juiced with Moar Magic", SO more like WoW or Skyrim, and they look a bit bronzed/burnt in the skin tone, which would happen if they dance around freaking magic forges all day long burning crap because burning crap is fun. :P
So....yeah. Seems legit. :)
Also: TOGA TOGA TOGA! :D

So, Xenagos. Is there anything (besides yourself, obviously) that you DON'T think should be deemed "potential fire fodder"? I'm pretty sure burning things isn't its own purpose, and I don't think you slant towards Rakdos's particular version of nihilism (not yet, anyway).

This may compete with Krosan Grip and Ancient Grudge as sideboard utility. That's impressive in and of itself.
