Good old Slime. We can always depend on you to get rid of what's troubling us.

I love this slime. It's in my White Green Blue EDH Deck.
Combined with a Progenitor Mimic, unless they get rid of your mimic, you keep destroying artifacts, lands or enchantments each turn. Hell, throw in a Clone in as well, and you can do the same thing, twice each turn.
And since blue is in the colors of my EDH deck, I generally have a few counters up my sleeve.

Option A: enough printings is enough. Card is good, but since it's a creature, there's also huge room for diversifying. Give us something like-an-ooze-but-not next time. :)
Option B: keep this actually Evergreen-- don't neglect to print for 10 more seasons, like you did with Grizzly Bears. Reprints are the solutions to Power Creep: by constantly repeating this, you offer the scales a center that they are not allowed to stray too far from.
I am afraid that with each passing Core Set, we lose what the old Core Sets brought us: Baneslayer Angel and Titans maybe seen as Power Creep, but how many cards in M13 and M14 are left from M10? We no longer have the Duals. The Core Set isn't broken because of Mythic Creatures-
it's broken because it's become too free to do anything it wants. Day of Judgment or Wrath of God need to come back to the Core Set *and stay there*. The Core Set is the only thing in between MTG and Power Creep. I would prefer Wrath, but by all means WOTC if you like Da... (see all)
