I always felt this was a fun card. It also registers pretty low on the "dick move" meter, since it backfires fairly regularly. Neat political games you can play with this, if you want to be a wacky deck player.
Or you can just run a Darksteel Ingot and laugh maniacally.

'There are no comments yet for this card (or rating). Be the first!'
^ Lol, the only card I've seen in Commander 2013 that hadn't been commented on... poor little guy, its not HIS fault he's not very good!
Also, is this my first 'first'?

Even more fun with Petrahydrox, Flickering Spirit and the like. Randomly destroying one of two target permanents seems nice.

Just target token creatures for your permanent and there is no big harm to your own side.

Use creatures and other permanents that are beneficial to you when they die.
ie. Mudbutton Torchrunner and Mycosynth Wellspring
There are a lot of cards out there that give you prizes when they kick the bucket.

Definitely an auto-include in monored EDH. This is one of the few effective ways to kill enchantments, and my general is Norin the Way, so I'm rarely sacrificing anything too important when it backfires.
