I think Kev Walker's style is a major influence on the overall flavor of Magic. Amazing!

I would say rather, that Kev Walker REALLY helped define Odyssey and Onslaught era Art Direction.....and that today, his peers are like, Jason Chan and Eric Deschamps.
Therese Nielsen and Rebecca Guay are both more influential than the men-- Pre-8th Edition? All over the place. Modern Card Frame? Still making cards. Pre-M10 post 8th? Yah. Post M10? Still going at it.
Therese Nielsen is probably THE most influential artist after Dan Frazier (the ORIGINAL Mr. Moxen, before Volkan Baga came along. The Moxen essentially define most of the art direction for....um...'card type- artifact' from Alpha through...what, Ice Age? Mirage? Stronghold?)
Eventually, MAGIC started looking REALLY distinct from Old DnD. Wherever you put that line, that's where Mr. Frazier Legacy might be said to have petered out.
