Probably the one thing Jund decks don't like about this guy is the fact that he's legendary. Otherwise, he fulfills basically every need any self-respecting Devour critter could ask for.
Now where did I put those Mycoloths and Predator Dragons...

Woah, I wasn't expecting this guy to come back, but I'm really pleased.
I especially love the fact that they gave him more flavor text. Sek'kuar really had an effect on those orcs, didn't he?

Great new art, fantastic effect in a sac deck, one fine commander... what's not to like? I have a hard time saying his name without a French accent.

Good lord, how long do orcs live? How many years have passed since Ice Age? And he's STILL AROUND? Egad!

@Hercynian, sac Reassembling Skeleton to Ashnod's Altar for 2 colorless, then filter through Bog Initiate or Initiates of the Ebon Hand; rinse and repeat.

You know he makes a pretty decent general in EDH. All you need to go infinite 3/1 tokens is a reassembling skeleton kind of monster and something that produces 2 black mana when sacrificing. I can't think of anything off the top of my head but even with getting a non-infinite sacrifice engine that's still potential for a very very scary army.

Even without using any cute tricks, having Sek'Kuar for an EDH general is awesome against sweepers your opponents will be casting. Combine him with the Penumbra cycle of creatures, and even the Symbiotic cycle and you get a ton of value! Living Death is his friend :)
