I can think of more than one way to ruin someone's day with this.

@Syrtees - Unfortunately, they resolve separately, so say out of 100 cards, you'd mill 50, then 25. Not 50 then 50.
Great card. Effectively a 4 cost counterspell for red that your opponent will hardly expect. Not only stops their plans, but turns the pain back on them. Unless of course they also have a Wild Ricochet. Then… wow, my brain already hurts...

I wonder why this card is rated so low. Redirect effects can be used as essential Counterspells for any spell that targets (redirect the spell to target Wild Ricochet, and when it resolves Wild Ricochet is no longer on the stack and the opponent's spell is then countered on resolution for having an invalid target). Redirect and copy effects can also create amazing events that can make a game very memorable, such as stealing a player's Exsanguinate win by Wild Ricocheting it - there are no targets to change, but your copy of it would resolve first, thus potentially allowing you to win the game.

Presumably you could wild ricochet a wild ricochet to create infinite wild ricochets, but I can't find a way to abuse the idea. Copies don't trigger storm, nivmagus elemental exiling would stop it from resolving and thus cease the chain. Guttersnipe only activates when you cast . . Damnit! I know I can break you, I just don't know how!
