You're right. The only thing sadder are people who use semicolons or commas in place of apostrophes, misuse "its," eschew capitalization, contract the words "a lot," put a space before a comma, fail to pluralise "costs" and misspell "abilities."
Besides, Diabolic Machine has a wickedly cool name.

7 cost ,its a 4/4 it doesn;t fly and i have to pay 3 to regenerate it. it,s sad nowadays this card would only cost 4 to put out. starting with the alara block alot of cards have cheap casting cost and awesome abilitys.

lol...omfg...this card should be banned from everything just because anybody who puts it in a deck is to damn stupid to deserve magic. lol good god.
and kirbstir...you dont deserve magic just for the reason that you start critisizing ppl about their grammar on an mtg card commenting forum. let alone the fact you think anything about this card is good in any way.

Discard this somehow and play it for 3 mana instead of 7

@Clavat99 - At the time that this card was printed (1997 in this printing), there wasn't all that much that could kill it (it's immune to some of the kill spells of the times...note that at that time, there were only 20 cards that include 'destroy target creature' that can destroy this, and only a handful of these stop the regeneration). It costs 7, but back then, games went on longer than a few turns (like games nowadays)...barring specialised decks.
