A worse Heroic than Triton Fortune Hunter, but a creature I'd rather put auras on.

The raw stats alone are welcome to any limited deck. Scrying through cards in the late game is some sweet gravy.

@ everyone complaining about feathery sirens: You do realize the Greeks portrayed sirens as bird-like?

I'm really upset with the way Wizards made sirens. Their was so much potential and they wasted it on things like this.

Imagine instead something along the lines of a minor siren tribal - in Greek myth you didn't get lone sirens, they came in groups. Imagine now that you made a mechanical reason for that. One siren gains control of target creature (sirens call) another siren has sacrifice a creature you don't own but control put a siren into play. (dashing against the rocks - the blood draws more) Another has when this enters the battlefield creatures gain defender until end of turn gain control of X creatures. (more sailors jump) I want to see siren synergy.

As is we have a ragtag group of pitiful sirens that all do unrelated things. They're just here because siren sounds like a Greek word - not because anyone put any effort into them.

Nice try Wizards. Do better next set?

Love the art but... the effect is off. Why does it have Heroic? Sirens should have Inspired if anything. They're far from being Heroes, and they don't have foresight to be scrying. Flavor is off.

Why are there harpies in the picture when the card says Sirens?

@Cloudchaser.Kestrel, I feel the same way. And flavorfully, I'm not a fan of how they're basically blue harpies. I much prefer fishy sirens. While on the subject, I think harpies should've had more minor tribal, as well, since they're pack-hunters.

Hey, it is no Battlewise Hoplite, but it is a common and a solid Snapping Drake to boot.
