@Eternal_Blue Not really - Auras are sub-par all by themselves. Is ye olde Fearbetter than this? This is slightly more expensive (by 1) but less color-intense (2C vs CC), is a cantrip/card replacement, and has the possibility of being a more powerful evasion spell if you put it onto a non-black creature (A Precinct Captain that can only be blocked by artifact creatures and white creatures? A Scroll thief that can only be blocked by artifact creatures and blue creatures?)

I don't know. I guess I feel like if your premiere block mechanic is so parasitic that you need to jam a bunch of subpar auras into it just for the triggers, then well, it's probably not the best mechanic to have. And that's really what we're looking at with heroic and all these overcosted cantrips and Ordeals.

Cantrip Gruesome Deformity.

Y'know, I'm really not happy with the flavor of intimidate. Fear made sense enough, but shouldn't intimidate on a white creature have more of an "only the pure dare challenge me" vibe?
