Flavor home run, and he actually seems decent for Limited if you can slap an aura or two on him.

Fly, on your way, like an eagle
Fly as high as the Sun

Man, I love the hubris. That's what MTG needs more of, hubris.

And then Heliod aimed his spear at the impertinent mortal...
There's also a bit of Bellerophon influence. Worth noting that the Sunchaser can actually fly above Heliod, unless the sun god has an Archetype of Imagination on his side.
It would seem the Auriok Sunchaser enjoys a much better standing with the sun god.

@Manite: I don't think Ikaros was actually crosshaired by Apollon. It was just a result of the wax giving out that close to a source of heat. I'm not really seeing Bellerophon, though; I thought he rode Pegasos up to the heights of Olympos because he had a grievance over the death of one of his children (which grievance he'd have been better of taking to the Moirae...).

Magic's first 2-mana flying haster! A nice take on old Utvara Scalper.

Ah, Icarus (or Daedalus, since this guy doesn't just get sacced or some other nonsense).
I love how the flavor and abilities just mesh.

Remember, if you need a chump blocker or need to set up a double block or whatever, you can make it clear that you are playing this on your second main phase and use it to block.
