The horse is clearly disgruntled in this picture. He packs all this shit around all day and he is all by himself while everyone else partakes in this epic feast. look how longingly he stares at that feast... poor horse.

What the flavor text fails to mention is how he secretly resupplies the saddle bags every morning, but it is more fun to make everyone think he is magical.
