Jace visited here while on Zendikar, back in the glory days.

Now here's a solid land.
Even though Jace doesn't get any of the traditional scrying in his deck (as Vraska looks over smugly with her Reaper of the Wilds), he does get two of these and a Future Sight, which more than makes up for the loss.
Since these are going for a modest $0.50 apiece these days, budget players like myself ought to be happy to get just a little more value out of buying the Duel Decks this March.
Lovely inclusion, I'll be glad to finally own a pair.

So first turn you could either:
Play Island, Ponder
or
Play Halimar Depths
Ponder thins your deck, Halimar Depths doesn't. Ponder also gives you the opportunity to shuffle for some better luck if all three top cards are bad draws. Ponder in essence has that extra versatility, but Halimar runs well in Landfall decks and some Moonfolk. Plus if you aren't short on mana, you won't mind playing it.
In conclusion, the two are good, running both isn't a bad idea.
