4/5 simply because we finally have a card named Hubris.

Please. The women of Theros have kicked major @$$ all block long. It's hardly sexist that one of them get sent back to its owner. Wait...
On a more serious note, I would have hoped for a more Achilles-ish effect. Speaking of which, where are Achilles and Atlantis? I get that they might come in again if we ever revisit Theros, but Wizards has stated that returning to top-down worlds is difficult because of the limited nature of topical tropes. Is this only an example of hubris? I guess we'll have to wait and see.

Judging from all the flavor texts, Phenax is a major troll.

Sweet! My Terrible Cube needed a bounce spell that didn't unduly punish fun Auras, and Word of Undoing was not up to the task!

Word of Undoing still to powerful? This couldn't cost {U}?

Only printed for all the Zur commander decks out there which will now be cheating in every 3 cost WUB creature from this block.
I may have actually cried when i saw this spoiled (I run a Zur commander deck).

This isn't as much a removal spell as it is a way to save one of your own creatures that you've pumped up with about 20 Auras. I think it's fine for what it does.

Eh. The card doesn't quite live up to its name.
I wouldn't have called out Wizard for their hubris had they made this cost only.
It's not strictly better than Unsummon.
Sure, it'll send the enchantment creatures along with the bestowed creatures to their opponent's hand, and it can also be used on your creatures to prevent card loss.
But it also won't be able to 2-for-1 your opponents' regularly enchanted creatures.

Because you just can't have a Greek myth without Hubris.
And sexism.

It's pretty counter-productive to be honest. I know you can target your own creatures, but in blue? The color of hexproof and counterspells? Why would you need this?
