Second sheep (card, not a token or anything) in all of MTG. First one wasn't even a sheep at the time it was printed, Rustspore Ram.

Now this is a game slower if ever there was one. It's really a big middle finger to red- out of range of most burn spells, keeps it's controller out of range too, and it even taunts red's inability to destroy enchantments. Cruel. If it was a goat, red could get it's revenge with Goatnapper...

Comparing to Ajani's Mantra:
PROS
- It's a creature! A creature with a huge butt, as it so happens; a 0/5 stops tons of threats.
- It's a sheep, and sheep are cute!
CONS
- It's a creature; that makes it vulnerable to more removal than just a simple enchantment.
- It's a sheep, and sheep are apparently weak. 0 power isn't doing it any favors, but at least it doesn't have defender.
Overall it's a better card than the Mantra, and is worth no less than a 4/5.

Selesnya Ajani can easily turn this into a 3/8 bleater.

No defender makes Doran, the Siege Tower happy.

Blocks the Lox, blocks the Ghor-Clan, and doens't give the Reckoner any damage to through around. Also procs Archangel of Thune everyturn and stalls nicely for Sphere of Safety. pi/5.

Excellent card.
Should be really good in Commander, as nobody will quite want to use removal on it, and people are also less likely to attack you because you have a tough blocker, and you'll gain life. Go golden fleece ram!
