I miss the 7th edition art, with the very awkward dragon head.

Not only is it a good card, but it continues the legacy of depicting someone slaying a dragon.
Fifth edition to Journey into Nyx and even the theme deck! The art remains true to its origins, that's kind of amazing to me.

Great card of course, but oddly underpowered in the current Standard, which features 4+ power creatures like Stormbreath Dragon, Blood Baron of Vizkopa, Ætherling, Reaper of the Wilds, and Thassa, God of the Sea. Still, it's cool that we now have this in Modern as well!

Man, Vanquish the Foul aside, even stuff like Smite the Monstrous said this effect is worth more than two mana. Though, it did get a bump in rarity since Alliances, this is still a good card.

It's back and with absolutely beautiful art! I mean seriously, that has to be some of the best art I've ever seen on a Magic card.

What an absolute welcome reprint!
As an aggro player, I do love having ways to eliminate big threats.
This card gives me the option to do that at instant speed on white (pacifism and others are enchantments).
Oh, and this doesn't cost as much as my house (i.e. Path to Exile)

This spell always struck me as monstrously unfair (pun intended). But at least limited finally got some decent removal after 2 sets of this similar effect costing 5 or more mana.
