Lifelink and Dethrone don't combo very well. Still a very solid creature, but less good in Conspiracy than elsewhere.

Dethrone is all Grixis this set. Parley's the GW mechanic this set. So, sure, it won't be great if you have a Marchesa's Infiltrator and are making a UW deck, but it is still a solid card.
