Yeah, i think if you look at this, then look at Bitterblossom there is no contest. But for someone like me who looks at cards not legal in at least Extended as EDH cards. This is actually pretty good when Bitterblossom is already in the deck.

No, do not compare this to Bitterblossom! That card has no synergy with the incredible Ebon Praetor.

This card was very good for its time. It hasn't aged all that well unless you are specifically playing a proliferate/doubling season BG deck.
