a timely Abu Ja'far + This + with Gravepact = 3 dead creatures on your opponents battlefield

but then again, if you want to try this. just Damnation and the likes instead.

It would be a lot better at 3 or even 4 cmc. Either way not a bad card.

One of those weird cards that takes time to figure out how to use.
In a few years, this card will be really powerful due to some new themes, just you watch.
