I could be wrong, but the Oracle text seems to disagree with the card text. Let's say I use Magus of the Unseen to get Masticore. That same turn I cast Control Magic. The next turn I destroy Control Magic with disenchant. The Oracle text implies that Masticore would then become tapped will Magus of the Unseen's original text makes me think it wouldn't be.

Anyway, nifty card, 3.5/5
