The original and ... if not the best burn spell, still the original fire, and the reason we call direct damage burn instead of jolt. The new art for M10-etc has nothing on this.

Interesting that you can cast this targeting zero targets. Not that it would be useful, but it's unusual at least.

fun. i once got to spend 16 mana on it and kill 3 creatures and a player.
