Banding was an interesting idea that just ended up too messy for its worth.

Creating the silly "bands with other" ability didn't help, either, and I'm not surprised banding vanished from the game.

Back when it existed, this creature was actually decent and properly priced, though given the lack of flyers in the game back then compared to these days, it often didn't have much of anything to band with, save for other Pegasi and the occasional Serra Angel.

Banding is powerful ability, but it doesn't mix well with evasion. Attacking band want's to get blocked, so that it can kill it's blockers with minimum casualities.
