I'll actually offer some real art critique on this one. The Andrew Robinson swamps actually look swampy - if you've been to one, you'd know that visibility can be pretty low and that light plays tricks on the eye. The air is damp and filled with all manner of flying insect, limiting visibility. This is probably the hardest of the five basic lands to capture the essence of, and I think the artist actually succeeds here.

I agree with Equinox523.
It's the border that dampens this artwork. Look into the background at the way the light works its way through the haze and the trees. It's a well-done piece.

I'd like to see a lot of the crappy white-bordered cards reprinted in black. You're right, the white border makes the art look much, much worse.
