How ever, it kills it instantly instead off at end of combat. Give it first strike.

Powerful sliver card right here, I give it a 4 out of 5.
Toxin Sliver + Talon Sliver + Hunter Sliver = Destroy any target creatures an opponent controls, even if they are tapped (unless they have first strike or double strike), they cannot be regenerated.
By giving slivers first strike and provoke along with Toxin Sliver's ability, attacking slivers would kill blocking creatures before taking any combat damage from those blockers. Talon Sliver and/or Fury Sliver combo very nicely with Toxin Sliver.
If you like playing deathtouch-like abilities, I recommend building a sliver deck around this card. However, Toxin Sliver's text is not exactly equal to a card with deathtouch. The "deathtouch" keyword is written out as: "Any amount of damage this deals to a creature is enough to destroy it." Toxin Sliver must deal "combat" dammage (attack dammage) to destroy creatures, whereas a card with deathtouch could be equipped with a ca... (see all)

I'm just digging the fourth wall-esque flavor text.

not quite death touch, as non combat damage dosnt kill it, but its a minor flaw, considering they cant regen. I have quite often taken advantage of the regen efect against my opponint. who runs death touch

Given how many slivers grant pinging, forced (double) blocking, first/double strike, and the general strength of deathtouch, this is really, REALLY good.

While Talon Sliver is the obvious preferred choice, it is worth pointing out that this little bugger is a black choice for first striking slivers. Granted, its an overpriced and underpowered example, but it does fit the bill if you want to run mono black slivers.
