Outside of limited, this seems only usable in a Mycosynth Lattice deck.

Generally not a very good card.
But absolutely lethal against Esper decks where every single creature is an artifact.

well like other people said mycosynth lattice, then use metal fatigue, by that time they should have at least 5 artifacts(lands) not counting any other permantents they have played, you could also have played one of the hunted creatures to give them some creatures if you don't mind giving your opponent a few creatures, would work a lot better with that little combo if your playing a swarm and can survive at the least 7 turns unless you use some mana accelaration, meh I used it once against someonewho drew there flash hulk late game, it was pretty funny, and love the flavor:D

Collective Voyage ramping into Mycosynth Lattice, then winter orb. Gulf Squid turns it on.

My god this sucks! Even if you play someone with lots of artifacts, they need to have 4 tapped at the same time for you to deal 1 dmg for each mana spent!
Try a consume spirit instead, this is rubbish.

why do the artifacts need to be tapped? it sucks, and it should be enchantment, like primal order

Please tell me this is not the origin of the quote in the flavor text. Because if it is, one of my favorite quotes is from a children's card game. Great.
Overall not a very good card. Playable in limited, but very weak and situational for four mana.
