Now why was this costed at 4R? I think at 3R it would have been pretty good (fry a weenie with every swing) but now nobody wants to play it.
@Designer_Genes: I dunno I think at 2R it would be really good. You have to remember that this lends itself to some serious combo potential (think deathtouch etc).

Despite it's high cost, this is a very cool and effective card. It's cool with deathtouch or bloodthirst, it's fun a lot of different ways. Try it!

Imagine this as an equipment! 3 to cast, 2 to attach seems reasonable. I'd totally throw a couple in a deck and have me some good times. As is, 5cmc for an enchant version is too much risk. Now, if you splash it in an infect deck, you just bought yourself a 5 turn clock. And that's pretty sick.

A tad expensive. Still, it's nice on creatures that have a "when deals damage" triggered ability, such as Fungal Shambler.

Meh. It would be too easy to play this for 5 mana and then lose it and the creature to a Doom Blade or even a Vapor Snag.
