Awesome card in limited, one of my favourites - provides card advantage, quality advantage, finds you bombs and mana to play them. Of course you have to draft and build your deck around it, but it's worth it. In its block it combos nicely with another 2 black zombie commons from the same set - Skinthinner and Smokespew Invoker. Harvester finds both them and mana needed to utilize them.

A staple of my Black Zombie deck. in combination with expendable zombies, recursion, or the new self recurring Gravecrawler , this wizard puts me vastly ahead of the curve of mana and pulls out zombies for me to play with that mana. he is also a 3/3 to boot, meaning even +1/+1 gets him out of lightning bolt range.
Then you see what he can do with the zombie token heavy decks to today and things become rapidly silly. Endless Ranks of the Dead says hi.

A bit slow and clunky, but should do just fine in a casual zombie deck.

Why yes, I would like to sacrifice a token to fetch a Lord of the Undead and guarantee a land drop next turn, why do you ask?

a very powerful uncommon. probably enters almost any zombie deck, and maybe even some just monoblack.
