I'd guess "vintage draft" is a cube draft, you know, where the cards in the "limited" pool are selected by hand to get balanced decks.

The cougar is ok, I guess, but it's not something I would hardcast in any format other than limited or pauper. Mountaincycling makes it fairly good though.

Red doesn't normally get to search for lands. Of course, red doesn't always need more than two anyway. I don't think I've ever actually cast it.
