nice in EDH is an understatement. If your opponent doesn't deal with it or kill you off quickly, you basically win the game.
in legacy/vintage it's obviously way too slow to do anything.

I think I prefered it when it was a Blue Ledgendary Creature with Johnny, Combo Player in it's name...It was much nicer when it was my General

Definitely a wonderful card in EDH. I try to run one of these in each deck I build. Six mana isn't nearly as bad to get ahold of. It's just a matter of keeping this thing alive long enough to use it lol.

Reusable, colourless, Diabolic Tutour.
No use in black decks, but at least it gives options

@Amnatto:
Why not just tutor for Beacon of Tomorrows?

Well, here was a card that until recently I didn't give much of a look, but with all the mana ramp in Zendikar this card is VERY easy to use each turn, especially when playing Green.
I recommend you all pick yourselves four of them up as soon as possible, and see what you can do!

Dang... It's hard to say it, but I need a weaker version... I would have an Infinite turn combo if it put the card on top of my library!

I'd say that if you own one of these you don't run it in your EDH deck(s)...well then that's just plain silly of you.

my inner vorthos just died and went to heaven when I saw this card.
although I think it's kind of unfair that the phyrexians get futuristic technology while the coalition fights with swords and spells.
