A fun card, and not as awful as people make it out to be, but now that any deck can get access to clone effects with cards like Phyrexian Metamorph it is seriously less useful. Also, letting your opponent choose things is always risky.

I play it a lot in Commander/EDH. It can there be used to kill Commanders / legendary creatures your opponents control, if they control no other creatures. It's also great for multiplayer politics (hey, let me copy your angel of despair, so that I can kill the other guys planeswalker), have an attacker for a turn, generate tokens for populate or to sacrifice, or copy copy creatures with good etb abilities (like copy an opponents solemn simulacrum for a few turns, until they got something else in play).

It's a skill card, and people need to stop saying that skill cards are bad. The skill in choosing when to use it so it'll most mess over your opponent/ so you'll get the creature you want instead of a saproling token is part of what makes magic a fun game. Also, it's repeatable and Phyrexian Metamorph is not.

Unwinding clock, voltaic key, rings of brighthearth, seedborn muse, etc. This card is great. EDH, it shuts down commanders as the only creature in play - 4cmc removal. Sometimes it ramps, best in multiplayer of course! Definitely a good card, low perceived threat, don't underestimate it.

More effective with effects like The Abyss/Pestilence/Drop of Honey/Wrath of God.
I'd like to see this work with Gilded Drake. Maybe multiplayer politics could make it happen?

3.5/5 stars. Better than people give it credit for. You use this card along with either bounce or spot removal after your opponent swings with their bomb. It effectively gives you another swing with your own sort of bomb. If they have a creature with a "come into play ability" you REALLY got it made. If anything else, this card will make your opponent think twice before tapping their creature and leaving themselves open...

Nice insurance card. Great for non-creature or fling decks, www (works well with) "untap target perm" cards. *I put the parenthesis there for learning purposes only, not to abuse symbols haha. All in all, I think it's a fantastic card. One of those- Once you try it you'll love it cards.

speaking concise, given that your opponent controls any creatures, you get a copy of his worst one (with haste) ueot at the cost of 4 mana. sounds not really that charming to me.

Mode they could copy Phage the Untouchable or Leveler causing them to loose the game based on the rulings. But if someone is dumb enough to use it in that case they deserve to lose.
