Lacks haste.
Would be such an awesome card if he had.
It's not that bad nontheless, but too slow to consider using it for some alternate Affinity deck experiments with discard option.

Seems like it'd work really well with a Grave Pact out. Pay 2 mana, and sacrifice the Devourer himself, causing your opponent to sacrifice a creature too.

The nim had a very cool mechanic going. I'm sorry we haven't seen its kind since.

@ Grimjaw Why would you need two Nim Devourers? This guy can return itself to play and eat itself again. Over and over and over each turn, as often as you got mana. He's good with anything that triggers on creatures dying or entering the battlefield.

@JaxsonBateman
Lol imagine if you had a Grave Pact and Nim Devourer on the battlefield and a Nim Devourer in your graveyard? That would basically be ": each opponent sacrifices a creature."?

If this had haste, it would be broken.... Which is why I run 4 with 4 Mad Hysterias! I also run a Butcher of Malikir to even the playing field. HA HA HA HA!!!!!!!!
