if only it was "equal to the number of artifacts THEY control" it would'v been nice to have something that worked against affinity decks. As it is, like they needed anything else to win.

Awesome artwork and nice flavor text.
It's a bit expensive but can do tons of damage at instant speed.
Unfortunately it can't target creatures therefore it's not such a great advantage. But you can still respond to it on other spells, and you don't care for that if it wins you the game.

Galvanic Blast makes this almost unplayable.

I'd say at least 10 artifacts on field would make this worth casting.

Definitely something I can see running in my R/B Myr Artifact deck. Myr might not have the Moldure support Arcbound's might have, but they sure do have a tone more supply for them. Considering That Myr Turbines,Myr Matrix, and a few other cards I have, the 5 Mana cost it has would definitely be nice with all the Myr Tokens I have.

I'd say 5 artifacts on the field would make this worth casting... see Lava Axe.

Have a Liquimetal Coating or two turn land (or something else) into artifacts. Master's Call for Myr tokens. Use Mirrorworks and clone your nontoken artifacts as you cast them, using a Palladium Myr to pay for the copies. Anytime you can use this for 5+ damage it's a good deal. This can be a finisher.
I had this going playing with my artifact deck earlier and at one point I controlled 18 artifacts. This would've put it away in a hurry.

I've got a mono red aggro/control deck heavy in artifacts (yes, I like to play a bit off-color :P) and this thing does 15+ damage easily at times. Definitely worth its place in the deck. 5/5
