Kind of silly in a burn deck or a fast creature deck with little direct damage.

No. You either play deck that empties your hand or one that keeps all cards in hand. It's very hard to combine for those two.

If on the other hand your deck is such that sometimes you empty your hand and sometimes you keep cards in hand, I suggest that you build a new deck.

This is one of the cards I would use ALL the time back in the day, probably '97. I thought it was soo good haha.
