3.5/5 for a great card in mono-black decks. Even if you group block him, as long as you have enough mana you can wipe your opponent's creatures before damage is even assigned. Doesn't even need first strike. Would be nice with Trample though, but it wouldn't make sense flavor wise. He was much better back with Dark Ritual though...

Jinx, use both and its a neat chess flavored theme deck! If you like that sorta thing.

I like this ability, it might be a little overcosted but seems like a really cool way to give black a psuedo-evasion ability.
