Azure Drake existed before this. Was it so game breaking that they had to do a harder to cast version of it? This is crap.

Ironically, Darkslick Drake is basically the same as this, but with an added and somewhat useful ability - drawing a card when it dies.
I guess this proves Drakes only useful when dead or made into Phyrexia horrors...

WOW this card is great WTF are you bitching about? I am not a noob. Blue has hardly any life gain. And in multiplayer constructed casual not even a mess of tapping and counters can save you sometimes. If you want something strictly better than this card look at Wormfang Drake

Weak card. I wouldn't pay more than 3 for this creature...and honestly even then I'd wonder why I was using such a card in a blue deck. If you want it for defense, use a wall. Strictly worse than Serendib Efreet, even with its negative effect. But its a drake...what can you expect?
