a very fun dump for all the infinite mana combos with the myr. Not the best, but very fun.

@SpencerDub: March of the Machines was printed in the same block, so It's definitely not a far-fetched theory. Affinity aside, a 5/5 indestructible creature for 5 mana that continually produces 2/2 creatures at instant speed was pretty darn good in casual.

Combo this with Mana Echoes for infinite myrs, as long as you have 5 myrs on the field. Also gives you infinite mana to use if you want.

I have a Myr deck, and can assure you that this card is the centerpiece and is indeed amazing. Anything less than four in the deck would be madness. Combine with March of the Machinesfor even more fun. Probably the best Myr card.

this card could well go up in value when SOM comes out....wathc this space , or they will bring out a better version

Looks like Scars of Mirrodin will give Myr Tribal a huge boost, with lots of great new Myr, and tribal support like Myr Reservoir. It's not all good news for the Matrix, however, as the new cards includes a cheaper new Myr Lord (Myr Galvanizer) with a great second ability, a 3-mana enchantment which gives all Artifact Creatures you controll +2/+2 (Tempered Steel), and a cheap Myr-maker (Myrsmith). The Matrix may just be overpriced for the new Myr Tribal.

Called Gnome Maker in design (one guess why), the original version gave all Gnomes +1/+1 and made them indestructible.

Combo with Tolarian academy or mana echos (Or both) for more mana than you will ever know how to use.
