Tempest has the best art for CoPs. But ever since Story Circle was released I never looked back.

The art for the tempest Circle of Protections is really beautiful. Some people say its too abstract, but I think its simply gorgeous.

CoP: Black was great in Tempest to stop a lot of things like Carnophage, but most of those decks were sligh with red built in and too many sources of damage to prevent. My favorite use of it was with Pestilence and a bunch of creatures with Protection from Black to wipe away my opponent and their field over and over...but white black was very hard to run at this time.
