This card seems to work well with EDH, as many people have a lot of similar utility cards, such as types of removal or protection, like lightning greaves or sol ring.

If its primary function fails, you have a card you can return to your hand from your graveyard in your upkeep for BlackBlack. This could be useful for a continuous discard theme. Granted, it's no Squee, Goblin Nabob.

This card works. Go to the M11 pre-release with your friends. Then put the pre-release promo (Sun Titan) in your WhiteBlackRed Grim Reminder deck along side Bolt, Staggershock, and the new Knight lord that is coming out- if you get one. The Bolts alone should get close to killing most players if your on top of playing Grim Reminder when need be. lol

P.S.
If you're running WhiteBlackRed, then, after making someone(s) lose 6 life for playing a spell, you can proceed to properly deal with said spell that the opponent played..... @ssuming you put the appropriate cards in your deck.

a card you could consider using when facing mirror games.
otherwise it's unfortunately not worth it.

btw, it's not really effective, but did you notice the synergy with Research? especially for non-tournament play :P

I don't see how this goes well with hive mind. The copies created by hive mind are not played/casted so naming this card does nothing for you. However if your opponents name it then you take 6 damage for each opponent that named it. As holgir said, you can use this card as a weak squee if you don't have squee or need more than 4 copies for your deck. Also unlike Squee if you have some instant speed spell or ability with a discard cost, you can return this card to your hand multiple times in a single upkeep as long as you have the mana.
