Seriously?
This card was made because of Strip Mine and other destroy effects.
Almost all land destruction spells are sorceries...thus, you bounce this card to your hand in response to someone trying to fry it.
:edit: yeah, realized that too. But it works wonders against Stone Rain. Though I dunno why it would be targeted, necessarily...though it works well with Armageddon as well. Good to have at least one land in play when everything goes up in smoke.

Not bad. Protection from land destruction, works with landfall, good for a discard (retrace).

Combine with Intruder Alarm, Nature's Revolt, and Walking Atlas for infinte landfall during your opponent's turn. Activate your khalni Heart Expeditions, You Ior Ruin Expeditions, your Baloth Woodcrashers, your territorial Baloths, your Lotus cobras for infinite mana, and it's all green/blue.

This could also be useful if you're playing with Winter Orb. Return it to your hand after you use it. Basically, it would let you untap two lands during each of your untap phases.

@Kataklizmik
You're thinking about that all wrong. Screw the Baloths. Yeah you'll get a bunch of 4/4s from your Rampaging Baloths and an infinitely huge Baloth Woodcrasher on your opponents turn. Or you could just say who needs baloths and have a Roil Elemental. All your opponents lands are creatures and as long as they don't have shrouded creatures all their creatures and lands are yours. On their turn. Swing with lands to win.

Eternity Vessel and Fastbond means infinite mana and infinite landfall triggers.

I don't get how that's supposed to work.

I bet the original version of this card in R&D did not have the limit that it could only be returned to your hand during your opponent's turn.

@Thanato5 - You're right...since 'bond states you can only play the extra lands on your turn, this couldn't be bounced. If you had an instant that was similar, it'd work fine...but you'd need a filter to get any colored mana.
